Elaine Dowling is licensed in Nevada and has been practicing insurance defense for over 22 years. She attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas earning a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in English. Thereafter, Elaine received her JD from the William S. Boyd School of Law, at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Throughout her time at the William S. Boyd School of Law, Elaine was involved in legal outreach programs serving the greater Las Vegas community. She volunteered with organizations such as Legal Aid of Southern Nevada and the Child Welfare program, to help lower income individuals in need of legal assistance. Service to the community is a priority for Elaine and she continues to volunteer with Three Square, Opportunity Village, Joy Prom, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Upon graduating law school, Elaine joined a well-respected insurance defense firm, before moving on to a boutique firm where she also handled a large book of insurance defense cases. Her vast experience in insurance defense includes matters in all areas of personal injury defense, including automobile, commercial trucking, mass transport, premises liability, and negligent security. Elaine has conducted hundreds of depositions, dozens of arbitrations, short trials, as well as numerous bench and jury trials.
In her free time, Elaine enjoys spending time with her family and travel. She is also an enthusiast of all sports, particularly football, hockey, baseball and tennis.
